Default Showing Dogs

My daughter is wanting to learn about dog showing, anyone have any leads on where she could learn from someone? We tried 4H but the program wasn't well run and the instructor was very disorganized.

Contact the AKC.

What breed? Go through AKC and find a good breeder/shower of that breed. Ask them. My mom showed when I was a kid and they (AKC) were real big on letting kids in too.

If you have a german shepard, my wife can tell you all about showing them.
That is if dog shows here are anything like dog shows in Europe.
Cheers,

There are dog clubs in the area that could offer help. I know Rose City Labradors has fuctions every year. AKC.ORG is a place to find contacts.

Here in WA they have classes every Tuesdays for all breed dog handling. It is for the dog and the shower. Contact your local dog clubs, if you can't find anything there PM me and I will see if I can get more info for you.
