Foam Mattress toppers==
After the last discussion about those toppers at Costco, did anyone sleep test them? Any reports? Are they worth the investment?
Thinking about ordering one online, today.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
I used one while layed up, the work good and feel good too. I think they are good if you are in bed alot as they let a little air under you. My wife bought it and I don't recall how much they are. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
Yup...we broke down and bought one going on 2 weeks ago now..
Absolutely love it...only problem I have is not wanting to get up in the morning now!
Beware...when you open it up, they recommend letting it air out and fully expand for 24-72 hours....partially due to the aroma of the foam, which goes away, and to fully expand!
I have been raving about it to all my friends!

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
I have had one for a year now and i like it alot. I would have bought the temperpedic but i bought a boat instead. I just wish it was a bit firmer and thicker but it is well worth the money.
I would also reccomend the memory foam pillow for anyone who has woken up with a kink in the neck that messed thier day up. I have the temperpedic and it was one of the best purchases i have made.
Good luck and good health.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
We got one at wal mart marked down to $40. It's only 11/2" thick but is nice. Queen size. Got one for the motor home also.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
My mom and dad bought one about 2 months ago from Sam's Club (a wholesale warehouse like a Costco back east) and they LOVE it. My mom has always had back trouble and she said since she's gotten this, that a lot of her back problems went away! They said it sleeps excellent!!

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
I've been sleeping on mine for almost two weeks (??) and it's great. I feel more rested in the morning and I haven't had any back soreness since then. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
I got ours at overstock.com.
Get one that's at least 2" thick.
They are so comfortable, I really was surprised at the difference. My 14 year old son loves the one I got for his mattress. He doesn't complain about his growing pains anymore.
I would agree with the airing out because of the weird smell. But it does go away within 24 hours.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
We bought one after I read the last post on this subject and we really like it. In fact I liked it so much that I went to another store and bought a memory foam pillow, not quite as pleased with it . Anyway very comfy and I haven't noticed the back pain as much, of course the topper didn't come with a get out of work free card either.

We went with the feather/down filled topper. Awesome! I had been on some in 5/6 start hotel, and finally broke down and purchased on.. I get much better rest and waking up is a real pain.. I just don't want to leave it.

We have had many and the only one I would recommend is at Costco. Save yourself the trouble and go there.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
Costco is the place 2 buy-we've had ours over 1 year-very nice. Also concerning the contour pillows, bought a cheaper 1 but ended up back at costco for their pillow. Their foam seems to be of very good quality.

Re: Foam Mattress toppers==
Didnt buy a costco pad but last year we bought an Englander foam mattress.Its the best matress I ever slept on.Had back surgury several years ago.The Englander is the only bed that lets me get a good nights sleep.Thinking about a memory foam pillow.Had neck surgury a few years ago and its pretty hard to get comfy.We considered the Tempur pedic.But couldnt afford the $ Seemed pretty nice but not enough more than the Englander to justify the cost.
