Default Thinking on buying this rod.

Never owned one, thought I would ask 8k people here if they have owned one, and if any good, I use limas, so here is what a friend has for sale, I well let you all be the Judge.

Northern Custom Rod
6X856HXG
GX 10-30 8'6"
3/4 to 1 & 1/4 lure
Action Heavy

The Rod is used, and it was used maybe 4 times.

What do you all think would be a fair price for it?????

Thanks All, Tight-Lines----"Norski"

Amp, I am thinking on may be a boat rod?? to use as a drifter, I think it would be to stiff.
Or just put on the wall in the rod rack with all the rest.
I realy don't know he is asking $65.00 for it, and for that kind of bucks I can get some thing I can use.
What do you all think, Boat Rod?????

For a heavy action rod like that, I'm thinking big float work, springers and fall nooks. Way too stiff for a boat rod in my opinion but what do I know?

Well I thought if I ever made it over to the willows, or mildren bar it would make a good plunking rod, I realy don't know.
I havent heard to much other from you and you fish more than I do back where I use to live so I think I just may pass on the rod, but than I don't want to up set a friend I have known for 45 years, and if I can't get it for a good price, and if I can than it well more than likly go into the rod rack.
How is fishing???
