Engine replacement cost

I have a 2001 North River Commander with the 350 pfi engine 330hp in it. I don’t have any problems with it but when I purchased it I asked about how much it would cost to replace it. I was told about $1,500. It didn’t seem possible. Anyone have info on this.

That is about the cost of a remanufactured long block. You would probably be looking at another $1000.00 in labor and misc materials on top of that figure.

I would think it would run about $2500.00 after the install.

I've been down this road. I would say $2500 MINIMUM if you have someone else do it.
