Got to do some fishin with some friends from work the other day.We caught alot of fish, blacks were really thick inside the jetties we had several doubles and a couple tripples on.only caught one Ling and lost another. We also got into the Perch and sea trout all fish had real good size to them. Also put the pots in pulled Three times two limits. by the end of the day the 120 Quart Cooler was so full had to keep the lid closed and latched. There was Five of us and i think I was the only one that did not get a limit of fish.A great day on the water

lots of cleaning after a long day on the water

Very nice, I miss the days when I was a kid fishing down there. Lots of great memories. I'll have to drag my boat down there again one of these days.

On average, about how big were the fish you got?

I used to fish charlston with my dad back in the early '60s, my favorite fishing was for the bottom fish, you could keep the stinkin salmon. I was really small, but I seem to remember the fish were usually 7-10 lbs each. Lots bigger than what I see coming out of Pacific City or Newport these days.

Man, that looks good. One of my favorite places, also. Consistantly one of the best crabbing bays in Oregon. I get down there as often as I can. Did limits on bottom fish in the bay and crabs on a trip down about three weeks ago.
