Sturgeon candy smoking recipe?.... & 1/29 report

Can anyone help me out with a link to the Sturgeon smoking recipe that has been posted a couple of times? 5-Cents, was that you? I've tried a search but can't find it.

The whole family (including my 3 & 8 year olds, grandma, and my wife) hit the MC today for some gator action. Started at the sawdust pile in the lower mc. Nothing, not even a bite. Went down stream into the big C. Nothing, not even a sniff. Went back up farther into the MC just below the Gilbert River ramp I think. Cast, bite, set hook, hand to grandma. "I can't hold on to this" and she hands it back. Nice, fat 47" keeper. Re-cast, bite, set, whoooaaaa, big fish on! Never saw it. Came up close, went back to the bottom and got hung up on something. I could feel the fish but couldn't get it undone. Then I knocked my bottle of scent over the side :depressed: and we never got another keeper all day. Lots of shakers.

we were up by the bird houses below the gilbert river and did'nt get a sniff on gaters . We dropped down to the mouth of the M C and got some shaker action and that was it. No one we saw was doing much catching mostly just fishing. Nice catch!
