I play when I get a chance. Their are tourney's in Pdx & Tigard & Forest Grove almost every night. I play with about 50 or so other guys from the area. They are very good. Most of them go to Vegas in the spring to compete for money. We are having a tourney in Forest Grove Monday night at 7:00 pm at the Billiards in Forest Grove. We could use a litle bit of rookie or old foosers to show for a $3 entry and a pay to third palce. Contact me if you are interested

I used to play at work in the breakroom ... everyday ... for about 3 hours. Haven't played a lot lately, but I still love the game when I'm out on the town with some buddies. The challenge for me (at least in Klamath Falls) is finding a decent table that is balanced, without the the beveled corners, and that isn't sticky from beer and strawberry daiquiris.

I used to play in tournaments also and even won a trophy from it. Those were some fun times.

One of the first times I played foosball, I was a freshman at college and just moved in the dorms. A guy had a table in his room, he invited me down to play a few games, I whooped on him.

The next night he wants to play a shot of whiskey for each point. Being the wise and all knowing person I was, I talked some smack and headed down to his room to put another hurting on the boy.

I remember taking my 17th straight shot in about 5 minutes, never once did I have control of the ball, and the next thing I know I wake up at the end of the hallway the following day around noon. They lost count of how much whiskey I had drank, the other guy never had a drink. If it wasnt for cameras I would have never known I rode the elevator for several hours, was propped up in bed on the girls floor with several girls (Wish I would have been concious for that ) spent some time in the TV room draped over the couch, ....... They had fun all night, dragging my carcass around the dorm propping me up and taking pictures.

Never think your better than the guy who owns the table, when you have never played the game before.

I learned a lot while at college, this was one of the first lessons.

Used to play a lot in high school and college and was ok. Would like to get into it again. I don't know of a place that has tables on this side of town.

So they call this table soccer huh . I played alot in colledge . I played first time in 10yrs at Dr feelgoods last summer . My push pull shot came back after few drops. We drank beer and had fun playing. Todays goalies are a three bar now ?

Problems was my golf tourney was next day . Night foos and bent over table slamming shots (ball and little glases) , didn't favor my golf swing next day.

This is a great oppotunity for everyone to come out. Even you Isaac. Hope to see Lilnorthfork there tonight. If you thought you had game at one time you should see if you are any good anymore. we have several guys over 50 that play in every tourney. I'm 33 and am just getting back into it, as I only played for a little bit as a kid. C'mon down and I'll bring a quart of eggs, and we can draw straws for the Ifishers.

We had 4 teams show up, lilnorthfork was the only ifisher to show so he got a free quart of salmon eggs. Myself and Harrold won 1st.
It paid $15 bucks. The more teams the more the pot grows. If I get some responce to this for next week I'll bring two quarts to draw for.
