Default How To Approach a potential IFISH\'ER?

Recently I have been asking everyone that I run into on the water or at a sporting goods store if they are IFISHERS...most look at me funny...

I was wondering how you all approach a potential ifisher...and what do you say?

Well..........I see them everwhere. Where I purchased my car, at the grocery store, on the river, guides, fishing partners, ifish events, sportsman shows.

I have met a ifishr in front of my house and at the VA medical center because of my ifish sticker.

I wear my ifish hat to all fishing related activities so thaat others can see I am a ifisher and say hi.

I am on the outlook all the time and have invited many to look at the website and join if they see the advantages and benifit of being an ifisher.

ifish is my most go to website. When I cant fish I ifish.

Life is good.

The number one way I meet other Ifishers is by introducing myself to people who have Ifish Stickers on their car, truck, boat or gear. I usually just walk up and say, "Hi, I'm Pete. What's your Ifish moniker?"

Just look for the guys (or gals) catching the most fish!
I just met uboatcmdr (Pete) at Timberline Lodge while I was up there skiing because he was wearing his no snagging shirt. Or just look for the stickers.

Usually if I meet someone on the river and they are friendly and helpful I ask them if they are ifishers. More often than not they are. If I meet someone who is mean and cranky I don't ask as I'm sure they are not.

Like Pete says, a sticker or burggy on your truck or boat works well.

I look for the guy who looks the smartest on the river, but also is missing most of the skin on his fingertips, from keyboard wear. Snowman, I'd be careful staring at a guy at the gym, especially if he's a body builder, and if it's in the locker room.
