How much longer?

Quick question? But first a short story.
I've been huntn' Blacktail bucks all my life, and hunting seasons come and go and usually finish and hang up my rifle till the next season. I've seen some post recently and saw some pretty nice Blacktail bucks taken late.
The other night while driving home, I saw a huge buck and still had horns. HUGE I have a couple smaller bucks that live in my area that have lost their horns.
So the question.......? How long will Blacktails hold onto their horns?

WR...I've found a fresh shed as early as the week between Christmas and New Years, but mostly they don't start dropping them in earnest until mid to late February. Some carry into March.
