Default Burbot- Ling ,right now!
The ling are at there best right now!! we've been out a lot with great success!! If the last of the fishable river stays open(not froze) we will be out again next week end, that may be the end this year. The ice is coming on fast!www.seagrant.wisc.edu/greatlakesfish/burbot.html

Yes,

Eelpout is another name for burbot or ling. Are you catching ling in western Oregon?

WE have to now. The normal hole we fish (Mountain Plaice) is frozen for the winter!It's not a bad place to fish ling< just not the best.
