Default Tuna Pie Recipe??

Hi,

I'm visiting family for the holidays and would like to make the Tuna pie recipe that I saw on here. I think it was Pilar's mom's and can't seem to find it in the archives. If anyone has it, I would really appreciate a pm or post.

Thanks,

glen

It is called Tuna Suprise. You can find it on the 2nd page of "Ifish Recipes"

Don't do it man. It's like a million calories a slice. There are three slices in a 10" pie. Don't ask me how I know this.

I just posted a way to modify that recipe so that those of us who need to "watch it" or might be "watching it" for others can enjoy it without the guilt...

Thanks again Pilar's Mom! I think that recipe will be handed down for generations.

Thanks Pilar and OB but remember It's Christmas and the calories don't carry over to the new year. I've only tried it with lite sour cream and mayo, so I don't know what the hi-test stuff is like, probably better that way .

Funny story though, I brought back a frozen loin for dinner the night I flew in and my mother was upset that I brought so much.... I flash fried some in olive oil and garlic with old bay spice and guess what, they were licking their plates looking for more. I'm sure they'll love the Tuna pie just as much.

Happy holidays,

glen
