Default Hot Shot Divers vs. Jet Divers

While dragging baig or pink worms I use Hot Shot divers (manufactured by Brad's now) sometimes, and other times I use jet divers. I find that if the hot shot diver does not true right out of the box then I have a heck of a time tuning it. Jet divers, on the other hand, seem to never require any tinkering; thus, they are easier.

I was just wondering if anybody had any opinions on whether one diver worked better than the other and/or any simple tips on tuning the Hot Shot diver.

Love the jet divers for chinook 8'-15' of water.
Feel the regular size hot-n-tots work very well in the 4'- 8' steely water, no tuning seems to be needed and they don't hang up as often as using jet divers. Just my personal observations!

If the other rods out of the boat are plugs or hot-n-tots, go with a jet diver. If the other rods are jet divers, go hot-n-tot. It's the "give 'em something different" factor. As long as the hot-n-tot isn't rolling in the water or pulling to one side so hard as to run the risk of fouling the other rods, don't sweat tuning it. If it pulls a little to one side, compensate by changing the rod holder.

I put a large slider on the main line then attach a swivel to that and hang my diver below that. To me it serves to puposes. 1.It tends to track straight nad 2. when the fish picks up the bait they dont feel as much drag as they do when its hooked to the diver. It works for me .
