Default another newbie

Well howdy fellow fishin fools and freaks of first water.
I am glad and looking forward to being able to be a part of this awesome site!
Newbie story huh?
Well I can say that the dude in the photo from the NFL snagger post looks very close to a guy I busted a few years ago.Seriously.
I was fishing for turtles at the mouth of the Lewis and anchored below me was a guy in a blue N. River catching keeper after keeper and tossing them to his buddies anchored next to him in different boats.
I called the poaching hotline, and an hour later a old crab cruiser shows up with a guy in camo and a crusty hat. He anchors and procedes to watch the slaughter continue, until he drifts down to the dirt bag and rips his coat off, displaying a WSP uniform, says put your hands where I can see them, three Ford explorers show up on the beach, and needless to say it was all over.As for me...

Biggest steelhead: 43 1/4" B run natural on the Deschutes
Biggest Nookie: 45 # in "the slough"
Biggest thanks to all those who have helped me and offered advice over the yearsriceless.
My passion is huge steelhead, drifting the Deschutes, the coastal rivers, springers, trask fall pigs, oh forget it, I'm just a fishing freak.
I am the proud new owner of a 17x54 Willie, being built as we speak.
Hope to get to know and fish with some of you, learn and pass on what I know to better achieve what we all live for.
I will try to be as participative as possible, If I should fail, it is either a.) my computer is slower than the second coming or b.) I am on the river more than I am at home.(Bless my awesome wife)
See ya out there.
