Default Sturgeon info

I want to give a big thanks to some people who post on this site. Tacklebuster, great information on the sturgeon fishing around Portland. Your recent posts about the fish and what they are doing really made a difference this week. I don't have a boat to go sturgeon fishing in so I am delegated to bumming rides with others. Earlier this week I had the chance to go fishing in the Portland area for sturgeon with a friend. Neither of us had ever fished around the Willy or Columbia in that area for sturgeon. We started out in the Columbia and tried several different areas that we thought should hold fish. Result- no bites! Thought about your post's in the Willy, about the Columbia being cold and so on, so we headed up the Willy to give it a try. First spot we tried, Jackpot! We caught quite a few shakers and a 47" keeper in the last couple hours! Without giving up secret spots, you have been providing enough info to help out the less fortunate. Thanks! This goes for everybody else that has contributed to these threads as well!
