Default Fall Chinook 2004 Season Review (pics)

It's been another great season fishing for Fall Chinook Salmon. We caught fish using a variety of jigs including a few new custom-tied jigs.

Here are a couple fish pics of some willing biters. All but one of the fish were released.

This beautiful hen took a plain beaded salmon custom-tied three feather jig. She was sitting about 12 feet deep

Here is a nice buck that fell for "The Quad" with a shrimp tail. He was sitting about 8 feet deep.

Here is another nice buck that was caught on the same jig. He was also laying about 12 feet down.

This hen was caught in low, clear water about eight feet deep using a pink marabou jig.

One morning we went to the Kilchis tidewater and found some fresh Chum that couldn't resist our Fuchsia Tail Flasher jigs.

Here is another picture of a fresh chum that took a fuchsia jig.

I'd like to thank everyone for sharing their fish stories with us and we look forward to many more seasons of salmon fishing here in the great northwest.

Mark

Well done Mark (and Stew).
You'll notice that all the pictures except for the head shot are of Mark He caught most of the fish and so all I had to do is take pictures and net his fish
I had a good season too but I didn't get many chromers like Mark did.

I,ve never jigged for salmon, I would like to try it sometime though. I suppose there are many ways to fish for a salmon but, a person can only do what they know. Great pics, my hats off to you.
