Default Need Parts, Small Chevy , Kodiak

I need some help looking for a parts vendor. Does anyone know if Kodiak will sell direct? Looking for a flywheel ring gear, and a starter. I have a chipped flywheel ring gear and a damaged starter drive gear.

Thanks

I have located a ring gear at my Local parts store. It is going to run me $24.00 for the ring gear. The part that bugs me is maybe having to pull the motor. I will see if I can access the flywheel with out pulling the motor. I guess this will be a good time to check the U-joints in the Jack-shaft. I still can't believe this happened a week before my vacation.

I pulled my motor and replaced my Flywheel ring gear. I found a new ring gear for a $18.91 at a local parts house. Instalation was very easy and straight forward. I found a u-joint on the jack-shaft that was on its way to failing. Overall pulling the Motor was easy. I hope I don't have to do it again. Finding an overhead hoist was a pain.
