Default Truck Broken Down Hwy 6 Sunday night?

Last night on the way home form a horrible long day of fishing, and I mean fishing (NO CATCHING ) I came around the corner on Hwy 6 and there wa a truck and drift boat stalled. It was in a very bad spot almost at the top of the pass and on a blind corner. I knew that this was going to end up as an accident sooner or later. so as I passed and saw car after car pass I turned around to help three youg men. What was amazing, that even after I went down and put out flares how many motorist still zoomed by, some even running over the flares like it was no big deal . After trying to jump the truck and get it going with no luck, I ended up towing it up the road in to a pull off. All ended safely.
My point to the post did anyone else see this or know who this was?

Slayer:

Thank you for helping out those people. You may very well have saved someone's life and averted a horrible tragedy with your flares and help. It is hard to understand the callousness, selfishness and down right irresponsibility of others. That's why there are people like you, Slayer. If I break down, I hope I am lucky enough to have someone like you come along. GOOD JOB!

Your act of generosity reminds me that I have to replace the flares in my truck that I used recently. EVERYBODY: Carry flares in your vehicle - they are life savers.

Slayer. I think your next fishing trip will be more successful.

Thank you Slayer Those guys made it home alright, all the truck needed was a new battery and cable. I think it shorted out so it wasn't getting any charge from the alternator. It was weird how the truck pulled the boat out of Netarts then half a mile later it died we got it jumped made it almost all the way up the grade and died again. I am sure they would have given you some crab for your inconvience but i had them all 2 miles ahead unable to see them break down Thanks again
