The Gorge has been pretty good to us the last couple of trips. We made a trip last Saturday that produced tons of shakers but no keeper size fish. We have put two trips in since then that has been really good for the big fish. We got a couple of keepers that was released on our last trip and two peelers that were fun to tassle with. Herring and shad strips with a little dab of vanilla have been the ticket for us. The big fish seem to still be in the hard current just below the deadline so as much as I hate typing this.... bring your broom sticks and trailer winches cause it's 24 to 30 ounces of weight time

The deeper areas below the fishery have been kicking out a ton of shakers but I have seen a couple keepers taken between smaller fish.

Good luck
