Default Grande Rhonde Halloween Fish!

Had a great day on the Grande Rhonde Today. It was cold but the fish were biting. We had to drive over Elk Flat Road through a snowstorm to get there. We watched raft after raft float by loaded with fish and ELK! Looks like Snake River White Water is doing pretty good business. We hooked eight Steelhead today. Three natives that were returned safely back to the river and 5 beautiful hatchery fish. My buddy took three home and I took two. Jig and bobber did it for me again.

Good report. Thanks!. Heading over to our place at the Imnaha River, 4 miles down from the tavern. Your stories make me want to pump up the raft and go down river to Cow Creek. Low water for the Imnaha this time of the year......big Bull trout as long as your arm though....better in March/April with the early snow melt for the metalheads. Thanks again for the report and keep them coming, I love that part of the country.....Dave
