Default Yaquina Report 1/16

Went out with my partner early to fish the outgoing for sturgeon. Foggy in the morning and sunny with a few clouds the rest of the day. No action until 1pm. We had 1 come off and 1 @ 43". Went down to the bay for some clams and check on the crabbing. Clams good, but crabbing was fair. We talked to a few folks and there were lots of little guys but few keepers and some of them were soft. Still beats a day at the office.

Salty,
I'm heading over this weekend to do the same but I haven't fished for gators on the Yaquina, would you be so kind as to share what part of the area you fished? (maybe a range? above or below the oyster farm?)
