Default Fat Guy Rain gear

I have been having a difficult time finding Rain gear. Looking for about 4x. I can order some online, but I am looking to spend Thursday on Tillamook Bay, so no time for delivery.

Checked:
GI Joes
Fishermans
Helly Hansen
West Marine
Big 5
Target

Might also try the LL Bean outlet store in Lincoln City. I've found some big and tall stuff there ... still using my 5 mm neoprene boot-foot waders ... in 3x.

I'd call first ...

I'm a fat boy, 6ft 2in and 300lbs , found mine at Englunds in Astoria. They beat most others prices on Grundens as well.

I can't find an L.L. Bean in Lincoln City. Everything they have is on the East Coast. The customer service girl agreed with me.

order from Cabelas and get 2nd day or overnite delivery...the $ you save in gas driving around looking for something will pay for the extra $ for speedy shipping

Translation: I need to make sure my wife hasn't already spent it.

Check the farm stores. Our local "Wilco" carries the large sizes.

Woooot!!!

This got even better. There is an outfit in Portland called Sanderson Safety Supply. They have a huge assortment of rain gear in the range I was looking for.

Again, thank you everyone for posting with suggestions. For a second, I thought I was too fat to go fishin

I don't know about y'all, but I'm "big boned".

6'2", 285 lbs.

If I ever did get too fat to go fishing, that might convince me to lose some weight.

Have you looked at the Grundens at Sportsman Warehouse? They seem to be quite accommodating...and quality too boot!

6'0" and 3bills..... I thought I was going to have to goto Salem tent and Awning to get my raingear.... They could sew a couple of elk tents together..

But I ended up buying a set of 3x grundens at sportsman In sept. they are confertable and they fit they did have a 4x there but it was way to big for me my 3x fits over my sweatshirt and my grundan's parka. If you look at Amerman's post he just made with his picture me and my dad are at the bottom of the page with a couple of doubles on I'am wearing my grundans parka... There raingear is awsome and kept me dry through some rainy days we had latley...
