Default Private Hole E.F.L. Question

I recently gained access to a spot on the river that is only about 15 yards wide, deep, and above a wide tail out. Now my question is how should I fish this spot?I usually use a jig and float, but I think it would not work in this deeper water. I know that all fish must pass through here so they are in there, can someone suggest a method and maybe a photo of a rig set up. I have never used anything beside hard ware and jig and float.

Default Re: Private Hole E.F.L. Question

Is the water slow moving through the hole or is it fairly fast? How deep is the hole? I've had pretty good luck drift fishing (corky and yarn w/ Crawfish-anise scent) some deeper holes where the water still moves pretty good (approximately walking speed). If it is slow moving, I'd run a jig through it and cover the water that way.

Try any methods you are comfortable with and have confidence in and they will work.
