Going through my tackle I noticed my quickfish had both treble hooks touching. I picked it up only to find that it has drained the internal battery. I know I can send it back for a replacement (for a fee). I just wanted to warn people about this. Maybe next time I will cover at least one treble hook with a bonnet to avoid the discharging of the battery....
hmm I wonder if I can recharge the battery through the hooks....<evil grin>
Jooky how old is it? They're supposed to have lacquer coated hooks to prevent them from doing just that- did you wet your fingers before testing it for battery? Make sure to dry the hooks when you put them back in the box, and this should prevent that. Tight lines, TOC.
When you are done fishing with it do like Boatramp does turns them loose in the river, just unhooks them from his line and lets them float down the river, He does the same for Brads wobblers but they don't float.
