Clocks ticking....Register to VOTE!!!
Ok, this is political, but non-partisan!
Yes, you can make a difference, but only if you register to vote, and vote when you are supposed to!!
I firmly believe that if you don't vote.....you darn well better not complain, either!! All Americans should exercise their RESPONSIBILITY to vote!!

Re: Clocks ticking....Register to VOTE!!!
That's right. Voting is a priviledge, and a responsibility. It never ceases to amaze me how many people shirk this task.
Many years back I signed up for an absentee ballot. I voted yesterday for the primary. Took five minutes (though I took an hour to read the voters pamphlet). I encourage everyone to sign up for absentee voting - it makes the task so much easier.

Just remember this, if your not part of the solution, your part of the problem. Veterans like myself put our lives on the line so you could vote, don't let us down.
vote yes on 34, let's give science a try

Agreed! You cannot complain if you stay on the sidelines and let someone else make your decisions for you

Re: Clocks ticking....Register to VOTE!!!
I sorry for stating a certain side.....ya know, when I had made the mistake of moving to california (sorry californians no offense meant) I got soured on voting some years ago when there was a vote on a couple propositions and passed by a landslide....then uncle sam shot em down as being unconstitutional ( why did it not get shot down before going up for a vote ) that was around 97? and have not voted on anything since.....seems like anyone we put in office nobody is happy with. but with this presidential election coming up I feel a very strong need to do er again!....one more time than I will retire from that scene forever.....but not to worry I will still pay my taxes till the end. these guys are right.....VOTE!!, at least on this one.

Re: Clocks ticking....Register to VOTE!!!
Aside from those not being registered to vote, many people overlook this responsibility with the thought that their one vote won't make a difference ...
Ask the 537 Floridians who cast their vote in 2000 if they made a difference. Please, no editorializing about the integrity of the vote. When the highest court in our land settled the issue and in effect finalized the tally, it came down to less than 1,000 votes, accurate or not.
Folks, this was a PRESIDENTIAL election. Not a municipal measure to determine if a "Welcome" sign should be posted at the city limits.
Your vote counts ... but only if you vote.

Re: Clocks ticking....Register to VOTE!!!
In Oregon Oct 12 is the Voter registration deadline for Nov 2 general election.
Make sure you are registered and don't forget to Vote.
