Default Smoking Yellowfin and Mahi

Hey Everyone,
A friend of mine just brought back some yellowfin and some mahi fillets from Florida and wants me to smoke it for him/us.
I have gotten good at salmon and sturgeon, but never done these types of fish.
Is it pretty much to same deal? I use a dry brine similar to the ones I have seen posted here and have a big chief.
Thanks in advance!

the key is about half the brineing time and smoking time it is alot softer flesh and alot more oil so does not take as long. I usually do a flake test as it is smoking if the fish seperates easy with a fork it is done the hard part is not eating it right out of the smoker. I usually cut back on the salt in my brine to about half of what iI use for salmon since the fish really soaks up the brine fast and alot of salt seems to dry it out, yummmmy!!!

Some of the best fish I've ever had that was smoked was Smoked Albacore Tuna from the little Fish Market at the marina in Brookings, OR.
It was incredible. The tuna really holds the smoke flavor well.
Okey Dokey?
