Have not seen the good ones yet. Waiting patiently for one of the best winter plugs of all time.

Saw some in Salem the other day, but I think they were old stock, not the new (old) ones. I can check out what colors they have, but I remember wee warts and mags and maybe some pee wee warts.

I've seen them when I was at the Gunarama show.

Gunarama is a wholesaler and the Storm rep was there with the new old Warts.

Nothing special but they just looked like the old Warts or Brad's Wiggler's but only in about a dozen colors and half of them were bass colors.

In case you read this thread Mr.Dorkfish, the new Mag Wiggler's have different beads in them and make the deeper pitch or sound that you were talking about a while back.
I just saw a new one that came in and shook it to see the difference.

I was told that the new storms will be out any time. They are only going to make 12 or 14 of the old colors and that is it. None of the new colors are going to be the good ones. I was also told that Brad's did in fact change the rattle in theirs so that it sounds just like the rattle in the old storms.

So besides doing a rattle test. Is there a way to tell if they are new Brads? Like, by the stock # or something?

Irie1,

Not that I know of. All I know is that any new mag that comes in will have the new rattles.
I saw a new Mag sample that just arrived the other day when I stopped by that might have been made for Lure Dragger.

I know it is a custom old color that is being made for an ifisher from La Grande that I saw on ifish and refered to Brad and Duane.
It's kind of a colorfull plug but doesn't look fishy to me but I am new to plug fishing so what do I know.
According to the ifisher that ordered them, they are a hot chinook killer.
I took it out of the package and shook it alongside an old mag wiggler and there was all the difference in the world.

Regarding the rattle in the Mag, I inquired about them after reading about them here on ifish and according to Brad, he didn't have any complaints and the local guides didn't have any problems catching on them.
But the rattle has been changed to please everybody including Mr. Dorkfish.

I haven't personally used the mag but would not want to see any changes in the wiggler or wee wiggler as everybody and their brother that I know includng myself killed fish with them right out of the box.
I don't think i had to tune a single one of them out of the box.

I don't know if any mags with the new rattles have come out yet only that all mags delivered in the future will have the new rattle.

I think BS Fishtales will be at the Sportsman show in Portland in February and probably will have the new mag (samples at least) and some very new hot custom colors including the reverse #29. Sweet!
