Do you think it's a go for Salmon tomorrow?

Any Ifishers think it would be worth me driving down to Depot Bay, to try some salmon fishing? The weather looks questionable.

What's your thoughts? Wait until morning and check the actual conditions?

We're going to put in a Hammond in the morning and drive out to bouy 10 if I feel safe there we're going to head on out. Salmon only.

Im here in Newport. Friday halibut fishing went like this:
Closure went 26 ft and under at daylight. Then 40 ft and under about 7 am. Then about 8 am closed the bar to all recreational boats. Bar has been restricted to all recreational boat until I left the marina at 4pm

I'm banking on tomorrow being better..... but how much has to be determined. Quite intimidating to see white water all the way across the Newport jetty.

I think it's a good weekend to catch up on my honeydo's.
Fishing in those conditions is too much like work.
