Default S.Coast Terrafin....WOW

Have any of you seen the latest terrafin shot yesterday? It shows 63 degree water basically on the beach and 67 degree water within 20 miles! Pray for the weather gods to drop the weather forcast and we're golden!

Be careful what you ask for... While doing some Tuna research I ran across this excerpt from a Tuna Guide article.

Quote:
Later season fish tolerate cooler surface temperatures. Of course warmer is always better. When the surface gets cooler than fifty-five or warmer than sixty-eight, they leave.

Tuna Guide

I know we aren't faced with this problem often, 68 degree water, but if may put down the surface bite at a minimum? Anybody have experience with that problem.

Keta, Was it just scratch fishing at the 20 mile mark or were you guys getting some numbers. How far did you go out and what distance was the best?

I was salmon fishing Depoe yesterday and the water was 66 degrees 4 miles out... 63 degrees in the harbor itself!

Sounds like a global warming, Tuna killing opporTUNAty. Either way, 72-74 is Striped Marlin water. Not far off, and they'll occasionally hit small clones (I've seen it.) Same speed, same distance. It'll happen to one of the dogs. Just wait.

If the weather would only lay down a bit I know I'd give it a try! Man, I want another week like the last one.

Oh great, I just got into this Tuna thing and your trying to pull me back in to billfish and dorado. I fell like Al Pachino in the Godfather. "Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in"
