Deer - Not Drawn
Elk - Not Drawn
Sheep - Not Drawn

Oh well, better luck next year I guess!!!

Interesting that Jim Zumbo was one of the lucky ones that drew one of the 'additional tags'???

Just curious, what's with the interest in hunting Arizona? Do you guys submits draws for all the western states? Or just certain ones for certain reasons...?

My boss shot a bull that grossed real close to 400 points last year in Arizona at 18 yrds with his bow! That is why there is interest in Arizona. Huge bulls. If I am not mistaken it took him 11 or 12 years to draw the tag.

If you look at all the bulls in the magazines and wonder where in the world do these get killed, about 80% are from Arizona/New Mexico. Bull to cow ratios are approx. 40/100 in some areas, the question is why wouldn't you put in for there?

I didn't get nothing. Only hunt I have is the general bow hunt here in Oregon.
Maybe my buddy will let me tag along his Utah bison hunt, that would be fun.

I lived in AZ for 13 years and only got to hunt once for deer. My preference points are just sitting there now. At least you can go hunting by living in Oregon, and chrome rules over bass any day.

PS I only put in 8 of 13 years.

I lived in AZ for 7 years and drew twice for Elk. I arrived at camp 1 day early and counted 71 bulls in the area!! Opening morning 5 minutes I missed a 4X4 at 75 yards (too close), 2 hours later 5X5 down!! AZ is defiantly a hunt of a lifetime in my opinion..

No tag here either. My father-in-law was down there last year and shot a 4x4 on opening morning about 2 hours into the hunt. Spent the next four days wishing he still had his tag as he saw several other "huge" racks and close to 100 bulls in all. I hope I get the chance some day soon!

I archery hunted unit 1 in 2002. Elk heaven, never seen so many elk closeup. We hunted hard and both of us killed 330+ 6pts.

No dice for me or my partner. Spending quality time in OR this year.

That's not so bad.
