Default Spinner makers, I need a clue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Have a friend that is having good luck with a factory made spinner, and asked me to make him a dozen copies. Is there a component peddler that is selling the bell shaped body like Blue Fox uses? I'd buy some if they're available.

I had the address for a company located in Ontario Canada, that had the best selection and prices, in fact all of their stuff was posted in Canadian Dollars with a conversion feature to find your cost in American dollars. Unfortunately My computer crashed and the repair guy couldn't download my favorites list to save me all of my addresses. Now I'm shooting blind. Figured one of you guys would have the information. Slugranch like you have checked about everything in print, think maybe Blue Fox has put the work out that if you copy will be on your door step. I have used a kind of star bead from craft store that give a nice water movement, have tried to find a cheap tee bead also and they are kind of expensive, like 10 to 14 cents each, and if your making twin blade beeds etc. hard to make them cheap. But if your friend will watch and buy BF on sale you can almost disassemble and remake to his likes. Lots of luck and if you find any please post. Always looking for a good sorce of material. Ray

Go to the bass section of the local GI Joes. Look for brass worm weights. They come in brass, and black.

Black catches us more fish( steelies here. I don't know diddly about salmon on spinners) than the pretty metallic brass does.

Blue Foxes are great spinners. But they are too light in the body. Buy a bag of each size you think yaou need and tie up some in each size. Unless they are way too heavy, your friend will like the heavy ones better. I promise.

If he is stuck on color, buy some lure paint and do the bodies before you make the blades.

Good Luck.

Mark and the dog.

There is a local supplier of bell shaped bodies now...

R and B Lure co.

I believe he advertises in STS. The new catalog had pictures of the bell bodies.

I'll check if Fishermans Shack has any on the way home tomorrow. I think I remember seeing them there before.
