Default Home Depot Image Hot Tubs

Home Depot is running a special on the new model of Hot Tub from Image Spa. It is a Image 'Paradise' regular $5,999 and on sale for $3,999 2 days only. Anybody have one or have any experience with other Image tubs??

It has 50 jets, waterfall-volcano-power massage-neck jets- etc.

Don't have much time to decide so any advice would be appreciated!

I'm in enough hot water at home for buying the new boat (28' Tolley) without having a job so I'll put my money into electronics.

I was told when I bought mine 5 years ago, that there were three that were the at the top of the heap. Hot Springs, Sundance and Marquis.
We bought the Pacific Marquis at the state fair and have been totally happy.
It is a full size tub and fits 4 or 5 comfortably. We paid 2895 for it. No, it doesn't have a volcano jet, but I toured the factory in Independance and bought some spinner jets for 15 bucks a piece and changed a couple in the main chairs.
While I was at the factory, I saw a lot of factory seconds outside (covered) That they said they would make deals on. They also said that they knock them down to seconds for cosmetic reasons, such as too big of knot in the ceder, etc.
You might give them a try.

As for Image. I have heard nothing about them. I do know a big name in the inside controllers (sets the temp, runs the cleaning cycle, etc.) is called a Balboa pack. If image uses this one it is probably a good sign.

Check the warranty, ask who will do the setup, warrantee work, etc. 3995 is a good deal for what you say it has, I just have never heard of image before. (but that doesn't mean a lot) Good luck, and keep me updated.

The Image brand is part of a huge conglomerate, the ICON Health & Fitness corporation, based in Utah. From the company's web site:

"With over 4,200 employees and 11 locations around the globe, ICON Health & Fitness is far and away the largest manufacturer and marketer of home fitness equipment worldwide ... ICON has facilities located in China, Europe, Canada, and the United States ... Each year ICON produces 3.9 million units of quality fitness equipment. ICON owns and manufactures some of the most well-known brands in the fitness industry including ProForm, NordicTrack, and HealthRider , and licenses the popular Reebok and Gold’s Gym brands."

Image is one of its companies. The spas do employ the Balboa controller.

Sounds like a trustworthy outfit. Hot Springs and Marquis are two other superb brands.

Thanks for the info I sent of a Inquiry on the website yesterday, its listed as an internet special. I got a message today that the sale ends today and I have to call tomorrow to order and they will honor the price.

I'll check back here tonight and tomorrow to see if anyone has and good/bad things to say about the spa.

Its definitely not top of the line but at 50% less than a lot of others I guess its a good deal for the $$$.

Thanks again

I couldn't pull the trigger

I went to Spa Outlet and got "educated" on what makes up a good spa. The Home Depot spa just didn't wow me with its appearance. It was rather ugly compared to most at the shop. I think I can get more tub if I look around for a deal on a 2003 model.

I didn't really like the fact that I had a time deadline on a big $ purchase.

Anyway...Thanks for the info guys and If you see a deal give me a shout!
