Default Where to fish? Help!!

How about some honest info out there. No last summer fish. I have one day off to fish with Space. Should we stick with the Clack and Sandy and hope for steelies, should we head to the coast and fight the other drifters on the Wilson, should we try our luck at Sturg, or stay home and post last year's pics? Sorry to sound like a whiner, but where have all the recent reports gone?

Well It is going to depend on water levels right now.If the rivers rise try the NF Nehalem or Necanicum.Clack has been kicking out some fish as has Eagle cr.The wilson has been good but like I said water will be the factor.Call (503)261-9246 for river info.Sturgeon has been very good to some who put in the time to find them.

Tuna Breath,

1st Choice:
If I had to fish tomorrow, I would probably head down to one of my favorite coastal rivers. The rivers are predicted to rise a little but not enough to make a difference. The coastal rivers are a little high for some, but I like to fish the higher water.

2nd Choice:
I had a good day on the Clack on Sunday, so I imagine that I could scratch out another good day tomorrow.

3rd Choice:
If I had a really good heater and a good fisherman's top for my boat, I would head out and do some sturgeon fishing in the Willamete or Mult. Channel.

Good luck!
Report back....
