If you have a boat fish near one of the concrete pilings from the bridge, especially near the northern most one. You will catch fish there.

I am going to start fishing our bay here in Netarts tomorrow just before high water at noon. I will let you all know how it fishes. May be able to give you folks another option besides Newport.

Until then,good luck

I fished the mouth of Ten Mile creek, south of Yachats a couple weeks ago. I got 4 nice fat perch in a half hour of fishing. Then the wind picked up so bad, I gave it up. This is a great place to fish for surf perch, can't wait to try it again on a calmer day. Good Luck!!
