Wind River

So any of u hardcore springer fisherman go up to the wind over this weeked. How was fishing up in the canyons or lower in the river by carson springs? I was thinking about making a trip up there for 3 days next week. I just wanna know if its worth it or its still to early. I'm gonna take one of my buddies whos never fished up there and I don't wanna talk it up and nothing to show for it. hopefully this a good sign with all the springers going up dam yesterday maybe alot more to come.

There isn't any public access to the river below carson anymore.. From what I have gathered so far, the only acces to the lower river is through the purchase of a key for the indian cabin side. :whazzup:
as for the canyon, its proabnly still a bit early.

I didn't make it up myself but my uncle went up yesterday (Sunday) morning and by 6:30am they had 2 fish in the boat, got a few more bites throughout the day but never landed another. He saw a few other caught so it sounds like they are getting through and in there right now!

Fished the hole below the hot springs for a couple of hours on Sat, we tried to go over the cliff from the main road, man what a mistake, almost didn't make it. Sun we went in on the other side and got a ticket for parking in the turn around. Real bumper, one of the better holes on the river and no access, unless you stay at the resort. Oh, only 20 fish a day have been going over the coffer dam.
