The Fishery?

Couple of questions:
1. How fast is the current of the C at the Fishery? Relative, say to the Garbage hole in the Willy?
2. How far do you have to run before dropping anchor for springers, or anywhere with the right depth?

the current is fast......its about a 1 mile run to ives island.....the current is really fast..u need a big anchor and good chain with at least 300' of rope.....imho

I have been up there when they were dumping a lot of water, they raised the water level up over 4'.....Ross

imho if you havent done this fishery before i would go with someone that has first, it can be dangerous at times and its not worth getting into trouble in that fast boiling water!

BM is correct on this issue,bring a seasoned vet for your first shot at anchoring up there. Oh ya,wear your PFD while anchoring.
