Default Swan Island Area

I fished the Swan Island area of the Willy this am until about 1 pm. I had one take down but it didn't stick. There were about 15 boats . I spoke to a few of them and one had a springer. I was using whole herring and fishing 12 and 17 pulls with an 8 oz. weight.

Thanks for the update. Not getting many post from this area. This is my best springer water. Will be hitting harder in the next few days.

We were out there Sunday early morning and lost one just in front of the Navy ships. I saw the fish on the finder a couple seconds before it hit, so make sure to use your fish alarm if you have it!!

Slow troll with whole herring, 5 oz. at 35 pulls.

There were only a few other boats and we didn't see anyone else hook up, but we were only there for an hour or so.

We trolled the harbor on friday for a couple of hours and never got a bump and didn't see anyone else get anything either. Moved out to the Columbia and anchored and picked up 2 !

We did pretty good up there last year, but it was a little later in April.
