Default TUNA! Trip Charter

I have not been out TUNA! fishing before, and was wanting to make a trip out on the Irish. Do you think it would be better to make a "sure thing" reservation now with a guess on how good the timing will be, or to wait and guess on availability when the timing is perfect? There could be four or five people in my group.

I WANT the FEVER

Personally, I'd wait and see what the water temp does (by the first of July). But then again, if it's going to happen end of August is a pretty sure thing. Check the tide book and pick a day when you have incoming or slack bar in the wee hrs of the am and then again in the late afternoon for the ride home (but then Ken will now that).

PS- You will have to change your moniker after that trip. TUNASLAUTERER should do it!

No need to go to the Irish, you should call The Blitz or The Black Rocket! There contact info is at the bottom of the page. Both captains are tuna masters and will make your fishing experience the best it can be.

The number of people in your party and your threshhold for excitement will decide which captain to run with. The Rocket is a thrill machine made for small groups whereas the Blitz is a full blown charter boat with all the fixins'.

I'm not sure if they are taking reservations this early but I'd check so you're not left out.

Thanks for the info! I can speak with the rest of the crew, and see what they want to do: Rocket Blast, Blitz, or <unnamed charter of Irish descent>.
