Default Need clarity!

I've been under the impression that native springers need to be released. According to a friend, the fishing synopsis does not indicate this . Also is it the same regulation (what ever it is) for summer and fall chinook? Thanks in advance for the clarity.

Native Spring Chinook must released. Other seasons have differnt rules.

springers without a clip must be released.

summer fish without a clip must be released.

fall fish don't have clips, so they can be retained.

This, of course, depending on where you fish. On the Rogue, for example, you can keep one native Chinook per day, 3 per year.

When in doubt, check the regs!
