Any reports on my herring brine?

Just wanted to hear from those of you that traded with me if you have tried my brine?
Any success yet?
It has been good lately for me.
I have one more back up but it is extremly expensive and a high top secret trade. We'll have to wait until April 12 to trade this one.
Bring out your best shots, but it has to be a good one for this trade.
No made up stuff or " I learned a new knot stuff".

Take a lesson from the salty dogs mister top secret brine trade. We freely share information because we like to see each other do well. Thought that was the idea of ifish. everyone works together and we all catch more fish. Guess I missed the point. By the way catching plenty of fish without secret brine. Give away about a thousand pounds a year of various species.

I've tried it twice B-Run and not a bite, but we did get fish on plain old plug cut blue label during those 2 trips. I've been getting all of my fish on Kwikfish. I did like the brine though - sure made the herring look good.

Sounds like your top secret brine sucks. :grin:

So far my herring brine has had 4 bites in only 2 trips where herring was used. (Unfortunately those 4 bites only accounted for 2 fish in the boat) My top secret brine consists of pickling salt, blue food coloring and distilled water.

Puffin, sorry to bend your feelers, it was a joke.
I freely trade, no problem. But what if I was planning on guiding someday and did'nt want the WHOLE world to know?
I Posted a while back a trade for my brine in trade for steelehad egg recipes. Thats all a friendly gesture.
Sorry the brine hasn't worked for whoever, I have had at the least, a hook up on every trip but two in the last 12 outings on this brine, so thats all I know. Any one that wants this brine may PM me.Didn't mean to salt your wound salty dog.
PS, there were also 8 other people that I know of on the water using this brine, and I was the only one to boat a fish. Saw 4 for about 25 boats, so what do I know, not anymore than all of us.
