Well, fishing has been pretty good, the bay had started to slow down during the last week of October with about two fish per day.

Tidewater has been a different story with hookups in the double digits being the norm.

I predict with the late rain we will have a pretty good late season fishery lasting all the way into December.

And now for these storms that are lined up.....hopefully we'll get a lot of rain but I'm not going to hold my breath. These first storms of the year are hard to predict what they'll do. The rivers could blow out or all the rain could just get soaked up into the parched soil.

For sure the heavy winds are going to fleece the trees of their leaves. That could cause for some challenging fishing conditions at first.

I'm glad winter is here, I'm ready for the change of pace into river fishing (one of my favorite seasons)

David
