Default Great vacation to Canada

This past week after finishing up my season of fishing in Astoria me and one of my friends headed up to Terrace B.C. Canada to do some steelehad fishing.

We fished on the Skeena and some of it's tribs for some truly awesome fighting native steelies in some sucluded, wild country.

With single, barless hooks and no bait in effect for this catch and release fishing we used the Canadian stand by, the pink worm under a float. We also caught fish on drift gear, jigs and Jensen Eggs.

Wild steelhead to 18 pounds that would jump one to seven times with a good exchange rate on our money, and easy access to the river once you found it made this trip full of memories and well worth the effort.

Now it's off to the coast for some "Hog Chinook" action.
