Longshot...

I know this is going to be a long shot, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.

Does anyone know someone who owns an older Alumaweld Sea Dory? A friend of mine is interested in one but we've heard quite a few people who have concerns over the boats handeling etc.

It would be great if I could locate someone who owns the boat today and even better if they'd let me meet them at the boat ramp sometime. I'd just like to spend 5 minutes in one to experience this for myself.

Any suggestions?

KingFisher used to have an Alumaweld sea dory although, he doesn't any longer. You might send him a PM. He's a heckuva nice guy and probably would give you an honest report.
