Default Columbia Success

Another fine day on the Columbia.

The three guys that took me up on my open morning were rewarded with two chinook in the box, a 12 and a 23, as well as released another chinook of about 18 and a steelhead.

Then for my next group it was more great action. We caught four more steelhead and lost a fifth at the boat, got another chinook that hit the scales at 25# and hooked two oversize! One was lost after about ten minites and the other finally broke off after 35 minutes. What a day. For a while I couldn't even get all four rods out before we were hooked into another fish.

The two biggest 'nooks both had sea lice! These summer chinook sure are great looking fish!
