Default Summer Chinook fishing

I fished them for the first time yesterday and we ended up loosing one and catching one as well as catching two small sturgeon, all on Kwikfish.

Fishing for this new fishery should pick up for the next couple of weeks.

A lot of people are wondering about fishing for them. Well, a chinook is a chinook and since these fish are half way between a springer and a fall fish use both techiques. If you are having springer like water conditions then fish them like you would a springer, if the water drops down and we end up with August conditions fish them like you would a fall fish.

Or we may just end up fishing for the summer steelhead and then catching chinook as an added bonus. Already lots of fish have been taken by guys targeting steelhead.
