Default Clackamas fishing

The action on the Clack is starting to slow a bit with these hot days although we are still hooking two to three per trip. Some even in the midle of the day. I've seen quite a few fish moving through tail outs.

Diver and eggs has been the ticket.

The moss and chubs are startingto get bad so check your bait often. And the river is also getting low so there isn't too much room for mistakes in a few spots. There's also getting to be some rafters/swimmers coming down the river in the afternoons so try not to run over any of them.

I'll be rapping up this season in the next week or so and then I'll be heading down to Astoria for sturgeon and then salmon.
