Default This past week on the Clackamas

Fishing picked up mid week but has slowed down today.

This past week I fished four days for a total of 17 fish in the boat, all but one of them the first three days. Several of them were up into the 20's with the biggest one going to MoFish at 27#. Today's was 22.

A typical day has been several fish in the first few hours and then a hookup about every hour or so throughout the day.

I'd expect the fish to be more scattered causing the need to cover more water to increase the odds for the rest of the season.

And one other thing, if you have some guys come by you in a red sled with flames on the front be ready, it's been known to get the fish on the bite........
