Default Buautiful Monday Morning At Warrior Rock

I spent about 3 hrs. early this am trolling herring . My bait sure looked good in the water but the springers were not cooperating. I saw one fish on and I believe it was a native as I didn't see a net go up. Talked to one other fellow and he said he saw 3 caught. I counted about 40 boats in the area. I guess I'll have to say they are still coming like most people have been saying for the last week or so.

I also saw three caught there, but only saw one retained for sure. The bite (if you could call it that) all happened about high slack. I ended up going down river to parts unnamed and released 2 natives, both on unwrapped unscented unnamed kwikfish. They're coming!

I am very curious about the ifishers that say "unnamed lure" or "unnamed bait". Why is this?

1. Is it because the lure or bait is so good that if everyone knew what it was all the fish in the rivers would be caught?
2. Is it so all those lures can be bought and sold later for hundreds of dollars?
3. Is it because everyone hates Luhr Jensen?

Seiously, I am curious. I understand not disclosing locations but lures and baits seem like one area where ifishers could inform each other.

BEANCOUNTER...Why stir the pot?
It sounded like a pretty good report to me.

Beancounter,
It is usually because someone thinks they have this super secret dialed in bait or lure. When in reality is usually what 85% of the other fishermen are using.

No, actually, it's because the kwikfish in question has no name - it's just a kwikfish in a solid color that Luhr Jensen couldn't come up with a flashy name for. Simple as that - If it had been a cherokee, cricket, copcar, fickle pickle, double trouble, etc., I would have named it.

...and I think he was just being humorous stating, the "un-named this and the un-named that ".
