Cigar holder in the boat?
Curious as to what people do with their stogies when a fish is on and you need to set your cigar down? Ashtray? Stogie clip?

Thats a good question, I always enjoy cigars while fishing. another question to ask is how do you smoke a cigar while drift fishing?? I always try it and it never works

Re: Cigar holder in the boat?
Just put the cigar in the rod holder when you take the rod out to set the hook. I assume a real (reel?) man's fishin' stogie will be big enough to stay in the rod holder.

I tried that with the Honduran Lonsdale I took with me last time I went out, and it wouldn't fit! (In the rod holder Mount).
Now this looks promising! I may order one next time I order some smokes! Should clip nicely over the rails.
Hopefully the link is OK since it is not a fishing related site....

When we are smoking are gar in tilla's boat we just put it any old place, after all it's his boat not ours .
I have never thought about it because the rod never seam to get a pound down when we are smoking
