Default Bonneville Report

I headed up to Bonneville today. It was pretty scatch fishing and I only saw about a dozen hooked and half those were on the bank. I heard of others so I know there was more than that but it was spotty. We ended up doing pretty good dispite the action.

We didn't have a bite all morning but starting at about twelve or twelve thiry we made three passes and had five take downs. The first was lost due to no thumb presure on the hooke set even though I said to "put down your thumb!!!" Three times before the fish was farmed off. The second takedown was a quick and hard hit that popped the rod holder down a notch but the fish let go. Then the next three take downs were successfully brought to the boat-two keepers for the BBQ and one unclipped released.

Persistance paid off by just grinding it out until we found a pod of biters. Don't give up.....
