Default Yesterday I got......

.....sunburned on the Oregon coast!

What a day! As I got over the coast range there I was greeted by the biggest full moon I've ever seen. clear full moon at night, fish moving in.....Spring sure does seem to be here. The birds are returning and the willows are starting to bud along the river. There was a nip in the air in the morning as winter tries to hang on but by 1 o'clock I was in a tee shirt.

And the pressure! We saw two boats in the morning but they took off and we never saw them again. The whole thing to ourselves

Oh, and the fish. I had the New Jersey boys out with me. They started fishing with me this time last year (and limited on steelhead from the Clackamas) and were back again for more. We ended up hooking six or seven and put four to the boat, two native hens and two keeper bucks. Some beautiful fish!
